报告摘要:Understanding cancer cell motility, which is important in metastasis process, potentially brings new insights in cancer therapy and prevention. Cells migrate in different ways depending on cell types and degree of differentiations. Nanoimprint technology and structured surfaces are used to generate three dimensional (3D) biomimetic platforms to control the migration characteristics of various cell lines. Using shallow topographical patterns, cells from different histological origins showed different migration speed and directionality. The nanoimprinted 3D platforms when integrated with advanced structured surfaces and biosensors could be a novel in vitro tool for invasiveness assessment.
